Ingredients:

1/2 a cup of unsalted butter (1 stick)

1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour

1 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped pretzels

1/2 cup caramels, chopped (or rollos)

** we added in M&Ms for fall, you can add in anything you want! They are called everything BUT the kitchen sink for a reason ;)

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Melt butter, once melted add in brown sugar and granulated sugar- stir till combined.

  3. Stir in egg and vanilla. Once combined add baking soda and salt.

  4. Add in flour, and allow the sugar mixture to absorb the flour- the mixture will be sticky!

  5. Chop pretzels, and caramels. Add in chopped pretzels, chocolate chips, and caramel bits. Let dough sit for 5 minutes to “firm up” (extra flour will help too)

  6. On a lined baking sheet- place the cookies aside by side. If you “plop” them on they will be thicker, flattening the cookies will make them thinner. I like to make larger cookies that allow the middle to be gooey.

  7. Place in oven for 12-14 minutes. Remove and let cool once done!
