Karis Famous Strawberry Pie

Freshly picked strawberry pie!! Filled with a homemade sweet creme and topped with homemade whipped creme!!

Pie

9in baking shell

3 tbs corn starch

3/4 cup sugar

Pinch of salt

1 cup and 3 tbs of water

1 tbs of lemon juice

1/2 tsp red food coloring

3 cups of chopped strawberries

1. Combine 3 tbs corn starch, 3/4 cup sugar, a pinch of salt and 1 cup and 3 tbs of water. Bring to boil

2. Add 1 tbs of lemon juice and 1/2 tsp red food coloring

3. Let cool for 15 min before adding strawberries

Whipped Creme

1 pint of whipping cream

1/4 cup of powdered sugar

1. Combine 1 pint of whipping cream and 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and whip on high speed until fluffy- spread on top
