Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut Holes

Doughnut:

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 egg

1/2 cup sugar

1 tablespoon melted butter

1/2 cup milk


2-3 cups of oil

1/2 cup sugar

2 tbs cinnamon


Filling:

2 oz creme cheese

2+ cups powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla

*milk


  1. In medium bow, whisk together flour, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and baking powder. Set aside

  2. In stand mixer, mid together egg, sugar, butter, and milk. One combined add in bowl of dry ingredients- mix throughly (it will be sticky).

  3. Pour 2-3 cups of oil (2 inches) into such pan and let heat up.

  4. Once heated scoop/ drop rounded doughnut hole into oil and fry for about 2 min (or until golden brown)

  5. Once brown, remove from for and place on drying rack with paper towel to cool down

  6. In a small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon for coating, once the doughnut holes are slightly cooled (still warm) roll doughnut hole in mixture to coat.


Filling

7. mix ingredients adding in powdered sugar until desired texture and amount, gradually add in splashes of milk to become thinner (a little milk goes a long way!!!)
