Fluffy cholate roll up with homemade whipped creme in the middle! Served with powdered sugar and a homemade hot fudge sauce drizzled on top!

Roll

4 large eggs, separated

1 cup of granulated sugar

2 tablespoons cold water

1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

1/3 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup natural unsweetened coco powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 cup powdered sugar, plus more for serving

One 8 ounce of whipped creme (or homemade)

Whipped Creme

1 pint of whipping cream

1/4 cup of powdered sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line the bottom and sides of 10x15 inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper

  2. With mixer- beat egg whites until stiff. Beating constantly, gradually add 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and continue beating until the whites hold stiff.

  3. In a separate large bowl, with a whisk beat the egg yolk with the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar, the cold water, and the vanilla. Fold in the egg whites and gently stir to combine. Do not over mix.

  4. Sift the flour, coco powder, baking powder, and salt on top of the egg mixture and gently fold until blended. Scrape the batter into prepared bread pan and spread to edges

  5. Bake until puffy on top (18-22 min). Let cool for 2 min.

  6. Dust a clean kitchen towel with powdered sugar. Flip chocolate roll face first onto powdered sugar and remove parchment paper.

  7. Combine 1 pint of whipping cream and 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and whip on high speed until fluffy- spread on top

  8. Layer with whipped creme and roll chocolate layer. Cut ends for clean edges.

  9. Cover and refrigerate

  10. Serve: sprinkle powdered sugar on top with homemade hot fudge drizzled on and whip creme on top!
