Carolina Chocolate Walnut Pie

3 eggs
1 cup of light corn syrup
4 tbs brown sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup vanilla
12 mini pie shells
Preheat oven to 325
In a large bowl mix in eggs, corn syrup, sugar, vanilla extract, butter
Place walnuts and chocolate chips in two separate bowls
Line mini pie crust on sheet pan
Portion mini pie crust with 1/2 chocolate chips and 1/2 walnuts
Fill pie crust (with chocolate chips and walnuts in them) with liquid mix until filled
Bake pies for 20 min, then remove and place on sheet rack to cool
** serve hot with vanilla ice cream, or cool!
